We strive towards improvement of the conditions of animals in the pounds and abattoirs, as well as the racetrack & riding establishments in Jamaica.

- Your Living Space: Make sure your home is suitable for the pet you’re adopting. Some pets require more space and specific living conditions.
- Time & Commitment: Pets need attention, exercise, and care. Be ready to dedicate time to their well-being.
- Financial Responsibility: Beyond the adoption fee, consider costs like food, veterinary care, grooming, and other pet essentials.
Lifestyle Compatibility: Ensure the pet’s needs align with your daily routine and long-term plans.
The adoption process
Adopting a pet is a simple and rewarding experience! Here’s what to expect:
- Visit & Choose: Stop by the adoption center and browse the available pets to find the perfect match.
- Complete a Questionnaire: Fill out a short form to confirm you meet basic care requirements and to help match you with the right pet.
- Pay the Adoption Fee: Once approved, you’ll complete the adoption by paying the required fee.
- Spay/Neuter Scheduling: If the pet hasn’t already been spayed or neutered, the procedure will be scheduled before pick-up.
- Pick Up Your Pet: You’ll return the following day to take your new furry friend home.
- Follow-Up Care: Within 7-10 days, bring your pet back for a health check-up, suture removal (if needed), and possible vaccinations.
